Hi welcome to my website! As you browse through my website you will discover the process I took to forward my progress in finding the answer to the question “How much privacy do we get on the internet?” I started with the bias that we, as anyone who uses the internet, do not get much privacy online. My website consist of a collection of different sources that I have gathered over my time researching the topic. Anyone trying to go through the information that I gathered should click on the different tabs going from the left to the right. The order of the tabs were arranged to fit the best reading experience. I hope you can see my journey to eventually coming to my new question “Why should privacy be important?” that is what I would research if I were to continue. My time researching is limited to one semester so that is all that my website contains.

“Privacy is not an option, and it shouldn’t be the price we accept for just getting on the Internet.”

Gary Kovacs (Former CEO of AVG Technologies and Former CEO of Mozilla)

“Historically, privacy was almost implicit, because it was hard to find and gather information. But in the digital world, whether it’s digital cameras or satellites or just what you click on, we need to have more explicit rules – not just for governments but for private companies.”

Bill Gates (co-founder and former CEO of Microsoft)
